The Right to Resist Tour
Wednesday, April 19, 6:30pm to 9:00pm CIIS 1453 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA
THE RIGHT TO RESIST TOUR is a music and education project focused on infusing movements for counter recruitment and resistance to war with new energy, creativity and resources for change. It is sponsored by the Fellowship of Reconciliation's Colombia Program and Nonviolent Youth Collective and will be hitting the road in mid April. You are invited to the tour kickoff party happening on April 19th at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Come enjoy refreshments and live entertainment with the rest of our Bay Area supporters and friends.
There will be performances by April King, a Los Angeles-based drummer and spoken word artist who will be headlining the tour, as well as special guest performances by poet Kisha Montgomery and Ras K'dee and Eric Paul of the San Francisco band, One Struggle. This event is co-sponsored by the Social and Cultural Anthropology Program of the California Institute of Integral Studies.
