Living Bolivar's Dream
FRIENDS MEETING EDUCATIONAL BUILDING

Join us for a premiere viewing of "Living Bolivar's Dream," a video-in-progress by Clifton Ross, readings by members and friends of the Bolivarian Translator's Circle, music by Bill Crossman and friends, discussion and dessert.

BPCM will be a worker publishing cooperative founded to publicize the achievements of the Bolivarian process, including:

*Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) which is a counter-hegemonic proposal for regional development to counter U.S. FTAA.
*53,000 worker-cooperatives formed as an alternative strategy for national development.
*The "Missions" (Mision Robinson I and II; Mision Sucre, Vuelvan Caras, etc), involving millions across Venezuela in which people are subsidized to attend free schools and universities and job training programs.
*Barrio Adentro, a program that operates with Cuban doctors to provide free health care to all Venezuelans.
*Mercal subsidized supermarkets offer nutritious food to the poor at very low prices.
*Telesur, South America-wide satellite television station, spearheaded by Venezuela, challenges corporate media lies.

Come and support the event, the process and the cooperative. Suggested donation will be $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
